50 Cent and Big Meech

50 Cent is making it clear that he had nothing to do with Big Meech’s “Welcome Back” concert getting canceled, but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing his feud with the Black Mafia Family co-founder. Hours after Amerant Bank Arena announced the event’s cancellation, 50 hopped on Instagram with a sarcastic message, writing:

“I had nothing to do with this, please stop calling my phone 🤷 I sincerely hope you have a nice day today, Happy Valentine’s Day. I’m stronger than you think I am.”

The star-studded event—which was supposed to feature Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and more—was scrapped just hours before showtime, with the venue citing “unforeseen circumstances”. With no official explanation from Big Meech or event organizers, speculation ran wild, and 50’s ongoing attacks on Meech made him a prime suspect in the cancellation.

For the past week, 50 has been relentlessly trolling Meech, not just for linking up with Rick Ross—one of 50’s biggest rivals—but also over snitching allegations. The Queens mogul has accused Meech of cooperating with federal informant Tammy Cowins, claiming that he played a role in getting former drug kingpin Dionne “Cuffy” Gatling locked up.

“You told Tammy to tell, btch,”* 50 wrote in a recent post, referring to alleged “third-party cooperation,” where someone gives incriminating information to an informant who then relays it to law enforcement.

Meech previously addressed the snitching rumors, stating, “I never folded, never told—never will. Death before dishonor, always.” But 50 wasn’t buying it. In response, he mocked Meech’s video statement, claiming he was reading off a teleprompter and had a social media manager writing his responses.

The tension between them boiled over when Meech aligned himself with Rick Ross, promoting his “Welcome Back” concert with the Maybach Music boss. Ross even planned to perform his 2010 hit “B.M.F.” live for Meech for the first time, which didn’t sit well with 50. He quickly fired off a post of a rat with the caption “I think I’m Big Meech”, doubling down on the allegations.

On top of that, 50 predicted the concert would be a disaster, warning fans that many of the artists on the lineup wouldn’t even show up—and now, the entire event is off.
