50 Cent on New Power

If Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson does nothing else, he will ensure that he never misses an opportunity to drag his arch-nemesis, Ja Rule.

With the news of Rule’s $3 million tax woes hitting the internet earlier this week, it was only a matter of time before 50 took a jab at his longtime rival. The “Many Men” hitmaker, film producer, and Grammy Award-winning star posted a screenshot on his Instagram of an article headline that reads, “Ja Rule & His Wife Reportedly Sued By IRS For $3M Tax Debt Spanning 12 Years.” In the caption, 50 wrote, “you gotta pay your taxes fool,” with the laughing emojis.

The IRS filed the lawsuit against Ja Rule and his wife, Aisha Atkins, for failing to pay a total of $3,139,237.76 in taxes for the years 2005-2010 and 2012-2017. This is not Ja’s first rodeo with the IRS. Back in July 2011, the “Livin’ It Up” rapper was sentenced to 28 months in prison for failing to pay $1.1 million in taxes between 2004 and 2006.

Neither Ja Rule nor his wife Aisha has publicly commented on the lawsuit.
