The Meek Mill Akademiks feud took a darker turn on Monday when the Philadelphia rapper accused the streamer of speaking on his child dying and predicted karma would catch up to him within 120 days.
In a string of posts on X, Meek wrote that Akademiks is “playing with the wrong spirits” and that something would happen to him without Meek having to lift a finger. “This gone be his life lesson… give him 120 days sit back… I won’t speak on him again! You bold enough to speak on my child dying okayyyyyy lol,” he wrote.
He followed up by telling fans to stop bringing Ak up altogether. “Don’t bring him up nomore we Just gone sit and watch! Let him talk to he turn blue! let’s see,” Meek posted, before adding one last jab: “He making cities hate him at a time lol.”
Meek did not point to a specific post or clip when he mentioned his child, and it is not yet clear which remark he is referring to.
The latest chapter of the Meek Mill Akademiks feud kicked off earlier this month after Lil Durk was found not guilty in his federal murder for hire case. Meek went after Ak’s coverage of the trial, accusing him of gaslighting every major young hip hop beef and urging fans to mute and block him. He also brought up a 2024 civil lawsuit that accused Ak of rape and defamation, along with a resurfaced clip of Ak making sexual comments while talking to a 15-year-old. Ak has dismissed the grooming accusation as a false narrative.
Akademiks answered with a screenshot of repeated missed calls from Meek, captioned “Obsession,” and later posted a video of his gun collection after Meek talked about pulling up to his house. On September 16, Ak shared alleged DMs in which Meek wrote, “Ima piss on you when I see you and take the charge,” then dared Meek to come to his home and told him to make sure he had a written will and testament first. Meek fired back by calling Ak “mentally crazy” and claiming Ak had been messaging him and clipping his videos nonstop for days.
The Meek Mill Akademiks feud dates back to 2015, when Meek first demanded that Ak stop posting about him. More than a decade later, the two have traded shots over streaming numbers, lawsuits, DMs, and threats, and neither has shown any interest in making peace.
Now Meek says he is done talking and waiting on the universe to handle the rest. By his count, the 120 days run out in mid-January.
