Adam22 suspects there could be tension between Drake and 21 Savage after noticing some interesting Instagram activity involving the longtime friends. During a recent taping of his No Jumper podcast, Adam22 questioned whether something had changed between the two rappers, pointing to their lack of interaction on social media and 21 Savage reportedly spending time with Metro Boomin during Drake’s 40th birthday celebrations.

The podcast host acknowledged that Drake and 21 Savage have been close for years and recently collaborated on music. However, he believes something may have changed in their relationship.“Number one, his recent photos have not been liked by Drake,” Adam22 explained while discussing 21 Savage’s Instagram account.
“And if you go to Drake’s recent photos, they have not been liked by 21 Savage,” he continued.
Adam22 then pointed to another detail that caught his attention.
“While Drake’s birthday party is going on, 21 Savage is hanging out with who? Metro Boomin.”
The observation has added another layer to the 21 Savage rumors, particularly because Metro Boomin and Drake have experienced their own highly publicized falling out. Drake celebrated his 40th birthday with multiple events in New York City around October 24, with Adam22 himself reportedly attending one of the celebrations.
Still, Adam22’s observations remain speculation. The reported lack of Instagram likes and the alleged Metro Boomin hangout have not been independently verified as evidence of a disagreement.
Drake and 21 Savage have built a relationship that extends well beyond occasional collaborations. Their musical history dates back to 2016, when they teamed up for “Sneakin’.” They later released songs including “Knife Talk” and “Jimmy Cooks,” strengthening a partnership that became one of hip-hop’s most recognizable.
In 2022, the pair released their collaborative album “Her Loss,” featuring records such as “Rich Flex” and “Spin Bout U.” The following year, they traveled together for the “It’s All a Blur Tour,” performing in arenas across North America.
The 21 Savage rumors are especially surprising considering their recent work together. Drake appeared on “Mr. Recoup” from 21 Savage’s December 2025 album “What Happened to the Streets?,” showing that their professional relationship remained active well after Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar.
Their friendship also appeared strong during Drake’s most challenging public moments. In February 2025, Drake acknowledged 21 Savage on his song “Gimme a Hug,” crediting him with checking on him during the controversy surrounding his rap battles.
Meanwhile, 21 Savage has an equally significant history with Metro Boomin.
The Atlanta rapper and producer released their breakthrough collaborative project “Savage Mode” in 2016 before returning with “Savage Mode II” in 2020. Metro played an instrumental role in establishing 21 Savage’s sound, making their continued friendship unsurprising.
The 21 Savage rumors become more complicated when considering Metro’s relationship with Drake.
Their tensions escalated publicly in 2024 after Metro and Future released “We Don’t Trust You,” which featured Kendrick Lamar’s Drake-directed verse on “Like That.” The situation intensified as Drake and Kendrick exchanged diss tracks, with Metro eventually releasing the mocking “BBL Drizzy” instrumental.
Despite the conflict, 21 Savage consistently resisted choosing sides.
During a May 2024 Instagram Live, he emphasized that both Drake and Metro were like brothers to him and expressed confidence that they would eventually resolve their differences.
In December 2025, 21 Savage provided additional insight during an interview with Big Bank. He claimed Drake had apologized to Metro multiple times over their disagreement and suggested the producer might eventually be willing to reconcile.
Both Drake and Metro even contributed to 21 Savage’s December 2025 album, appearing on separate tracks.
That history gives Adam22’s latest observations an interesting twist. The 21 Savage rumors now involve an artist who previously attempted to help repair the very friendship at the center of the speculation.
For now, neither Drake nor 21 Savage has publicly confirmed a falling out.
