Eazy the Block Captain dropped a Papoose diss called “Lothario” this weekend, going after the rapper’s parenting, his credibility and his relationship with boxing champion Claressa Shields.
The Philadelphia battle rapper, who has been linked to Papoose’s estranged wife Remy Ma since the cheating scandal that blew up their marriage, released the song and its video on YouTube on October 10. The title is the first shot. A lothario is a man known for seducing and deceiving women.
Most of the track is aimed at Pap. Eazy questions what kind of father Papoose is and whether anything he says can be believed. He also brings back one of his oldest accusations, claiming on the song that Papoose recorded private conversations and used surveillance inside a home and a car. Eazy first made that claim in a December 2024 interview with The Boul, where he said Papoose found out about him and Remy by putting a recording device in her car. He said at the time that he had proof.
Claressa caught strays too. Eazy takes a shot at the age gap in her relationship with Papoose, pointing out that she is only a year older than Pap’s daughter. Shields is 31, and Papoose is 48.
Eazy also appears to answer “Jezebel,” the song Papoose dropped in September that accused Remy of an affair with Eazy and laid out everything Pap says he did for her, from paying her bail to supporting her while she was in prison. On “Lothario,” Eazy suggests he helped Remy move on.
The diss comes as the Papoose and Remy divorce gets uglier by the week. Remy answered “Jezebel” on her Alimony EP, and she recently posted a video accusing Papoose of cheating and claiming he hasn’t seen their daughter, Reminisce, in months. Papoose has denied being an absent father. Pap and Remy married in 2008 and welcomed Reminisce in 2018.
So far, neither Papoose nor Claressa has responded to “Lothario.” That hasn’t stopped fans from flooding Pap’s Instagram comments, telling him to get in the booth.
