Quavo and Offset are officially back on a record together, giving Migos fans their clearest taste yet of what their musical reunion sounds like. The two Atlanta rappers reunited during a surprise listening event for Quavo’s upcoming album, “QRÖMELIFE,” where they previewed their new collaboration, “Away.” Clips from the event showed Quavo and Offset together as the unreleased record played for the crowd.

The moment is significant because “Away” marks their first new collaboration in roughly five years, following the final releases from Migos’ “Culture III” era in 2021.
“QRÖMELIFE” is scheduled to arrive on October 2 through Quality Control and Motown. Pharrell Williams executive produced the project, which follows Quavo’s 2023 solo album, “Rocket Power.”
The upcoming project is packed with major collaborations. The “QRÖMELIFE” tracklist places Offset on “Away,” while Future appears on “BA” and T.I. joins Quavo on “Backwards.” Pharrell, Tyler, The Creator, and A$AP Rocky are all featured on “Baby Breath.” Lil Baby appears on “Ball My Love,” Yung Miami is featured on “HAOYU DEWDAT,” and Justin Timberlake joins Quavo for “House Music.”
Quavo has also made it clear that the album carries a deeper meaning beyond its guest list.
“We made this project together last year at a time when I was still dealing with grief and needed to create and express myself,” Quavo wrote while discussing the project.
The grief Quavo referenced follows the death of his nephew and Migos groupmate Takeoff, who was killed in Houston in November 2022. Quavo has repeatedly incorporated that loss into his music in the years since, including on “Rocket Power,” which was released in 2023.
“Qromelife is about the journey of me going through tough times in life and getting to the other side through my faith, family, and my love for music. We keep pushing forward, we keep shining, we become Qrome,” Quavo continued.
He also credited Pharrell with helping guide the album creatively.
“I appreciate my big brother Pharrell for guiding me and pushing me creatively at a time when I needed it,” Quavo wrote. “Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project. We Pushn QRÖME!!”
Offset’s appearance on “Away” also arrives as Quavo and Offset continue moving toward another major chapter in the Migos story. During a recent appearance on “The Baller Alert Show,” Quavo confirmed that work on a final Migos project is underway and suggested fans could hear more around the group’s anniversary in January.
That makes “Away” more than an isolated feature. It is the first newly unveiled collaboration between Quavo and Offset since their reconciliation opened the door for the surviving members to work together again.
Their previous era of music together ended with Migos’ “Culture III.” The original 19-song album arrived June 11, 2021, with Quavo, Offset and Takeoff appearing together across the project. It included records such as “Avalanche,” “Straightenin,” “Modern Day,” “Why Not,” and “Having Our Way” featuring Drake.
Migos expanded the project days later. “Culture III (Deluxe)” arrived June 17, 2021, adding five songs: “How We Coming,” “How Did I,” “New Money,” “Menace,” and “Working A Fool.” Those deluxe recordings represented the last batch of new Migos songs released with Quavo, Offset and Takeoff together before the group’s subsequent split and Takeoff’s death.
Five years later, “Away” puts Quavo and Offset back together on wax while connecting Quavo’s next solo chapter to a Migos legacy that both artists are now openly revisiting.
