Stop Staying In Relationships Just Because You’ve Been Together For A Long Time

Relationships End

Istock

Have you found yourself in a relationship and realized that you’ve only stuck around because of how long you’ve been together?

All relationships are going to have their ups and downs, but when you seem to have more downs than ups, then it’s time to rethink your current situation. Often times, we think about the time that’s put into the relationship rather than one’s happiness.

Regardless of how long you’ve been in a relationship, your happiness is your sanity. Staying in a relationship that brings nothing but anger, frustration, and bitterness is not worth it. Be with someone that wants to be with you. Someone that will be there for you and vice versa.

Life is too short to stay in an unhappy situation. Find happiness within yourself first, so that you know what real love feels like. Time shouldn’t be wasted on someone that you don’t want, period. Once you have found that love within, then you can accept real love when it approaches.

Remember, the longer you wait, the harder it is to actually move on.
