Cardi B said on Instagram last week that she and Offset have been having problems. “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute,” she said, adding that there is a lot of love between them but things have not been working out for a long time.
Online speculation about the cause followed, and none of the claims circulating about Offset have been confirmed. One woman, a 20 year old who goes by Summer, spoke publicly. According to reports, she released a written apology, gave a tearful statement to TMZ and put out a song called “Don’t Matter” apologizing for her part in the situation.
The Blast reports that Summer later went on Instagram Live and pushed back, saying she felt fans were singling her out. Shortly after the Live, The Blast says, she was locked out of her Instagram account, and the page was taken down on Monday morning. It had about 76,000 followers and 35 posts.
According to The Blast, sources close to Summer say she believes fans of Cardi B known as the Bardi Gang were behind a hack, and she is trying to get the account back. That has not been confirmed. No response from Cardi B or Offset was included in the report, and the cause of the account removal is unknown.
