After her successful tenure as the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama took her talents to the writing room and published her highly anticipated memoir, “Becoming,” which chronicled her life from childhood in the Southside of Chicago to her life as a lawyer, wife, and mother, and then to her captivating role as the First Lady of the Nation.

Now, as a New York Times best-selling author, having sold more copies than any other book published in the U.S. this year, the Forever First Lady has reached monumental success with more than three million copies sold in the U.S. and Canada alone. And to celebrate, Obama is adding new cities to her super successful book tour.

“I couldn’t be more excited to visit even more cities across the country and around the world,” Obama told PEOPLE of the final leg of her book tour. “I’ve been so humbled by the response to the tour thus far and the overwhelming interest we’ve received from so many communities we weren’t able to visit this year.”

“That’s why I’m thrilled that we’re able to expand our conversations to these new settings and wider audiences. I can’t wait to continue the discussions that have been so meaningful for me and, I hope, for so many others,” she said.

The final leg of the tour will kick off on February 8, with events across North America, Europe, and Canada, and similar to the first leg, half of the proceeds will be donated to different local organizations.
