Wendy Williams has spent the past few months dealing with a lot in the public eye. She has spoken openly about living with Graves disease, which led to a hiatus from her talk show earlier this year. She also had a faint spell on air in October and, more recently, a shoulder injury.
Williams addressed the chatter about her health directly on her show. She told viewers, “You all notice that I sit a lot. I love to have several seats.” She added that she has been sitting in the audience and sitting for demo segments simply because she wants to, saying it is her show and she wants to run it her way. In her words, “in terms of how I’m feeling, I’m feeling swell.”
Not everyone is buying that, according to a report from Love B. Scott. The outlet quoted unnamed sources who claimed people around the show are worried about her. Those claims are anonymous and have not been confirmed by Williams or her representatives.
The same report also claimed her marriage to Kevin Hunter has been going through a rough patch. Love B. Scott’s sources alleged Hunter was involved in an extramarital relationship and said there was talk behind the scenes that the couple could divorce. Neither Williams nor Hunter had publicly confirmed any of it at the time of this post, and neither had commented on the report.
