A woman identified as Jane Doe is accusing Chris Brown of harassment as the two sides argue over a request to inspect his Los Angeles home, according to legal documents obtained by The Blast.
Doe’s lawsuit concerns a 2017 incident she says took place at Brown’s home after a night out in L.A. She alleges she was sexually assaulted by a friend of Brown’s, identified in the filings as Lowell. Brown has denied the allegations, and his side has pointed out that he was not named in the complaint.
The Blast reports that Doe asked a judge for permission to inspect the home for evidence and for a protective order that would stop Brown from recording her during the inspection. According to the site, Brown’s attorneys responded that they wanted to videotape the inspection to protect the home and their client, and said they wanted to guard against further false allegations.
In her response, Doe claimed the request was an attempt to “harass and intimidate” her. She is asking the judge to allow the inspection and to bar Brown from recording while she is on site.
The case had not been decided at the time of this post, and the claims on both sides are allegations. A judge was expected to rule on the inspection request.
