The horrifying viral video of Jasmine Eiland being sexually assaulted in an #Atlanta nightclub has served some purpose, with help from the local community. Dominique Williams surrendered to police after an aggravated sodomy warrant was issued. He is currently being held without bond.
Atlanta Police Special Victims Unit investigators are still actively working the case. Officer Jarius Daugherty told Channel 2 Action News the department received calls from people who had seen the assault on a Facebook Live video on January 19th. Some days later, Atlanta police announced they were able to identify and had contacted the man seen in the video.
Facing one felony sexual assault charge for the #Opera incident, Williams now has another young woman accusing him of sexual assault, as well. The anonymous woman said she met Williams via social media last September and went on one date with him. She said all was well until she didn’t feel like herself. She told Channel 2, “I felt woozy. I knew I wouldn’t be able to drive in the state that I was in.” She said when she eventually woke up, she was in his bed and felt something was terribly wrong.
The other accuser is cooperating with police, however, Williams has not been charged in connection with her claims.
