Mo’Nique Allegedly Threatened To Slap Steve Harvey During Taping Of His Talk Show, ”Steve”

Oscar-winning comedian and actress, #MoNique, almost came to blows with #SteveHarvey on the set of his show, ”Steve.”

Sources told The Jasmine Brand exclusively that Mo’Nique became irate during a heated argument with Harvey while on the show to promote her Las Vegas residency.

Eyewitnesses said things spiraled quickly when Steve confronted Mo’Nique about controversial comments she’d made in the past about other black celebrities like #WhoopiGoldberg and #TylerPerry.

Apparently, the host was referring to a recent interview, in which Mo’Nique allegedly referred to Whoopi as ‘the help.’ Sources said Harvey brought up the remarks during the show and told her outright that she needed to apologize to Whoopi and others for her snide comments.

At that point, things got very intense and sources said Mo’Nique seemed to lose her cool. She allegedly threatened to hit him in the face.

However, Harvey reportedly responded by telling Mo’Nique that “If she hit him, her husband would have to come out and square off.”

Cameras were rolling during the altercation but there is no word on whether or not the incident will air.
