In 2015, Mo’Nique claimed that she was blackballed in Hollywood for allegedly being “difficult” to work with and failing to properly campaign and promote “Precious,” which won her an Oscar. At the time, she placed blame on Lee Daniels, even claiming that she was denied a role on Empire as Cookie Lyon.
Now, two years later, Mo’Nique is back to dragging Lee Daniels, this time including Oprah and Tyler Perry. In a recent comedy routine, Mo’Nique blasts Daniels, Winfrey and Perry. She did not mince words as she outed them for treating her unfairly.
“I was not blackballed,” said Mo’Nique. “I was white balled, by some black dicks who have no balls. Thank you, Mr. Lee Daniels. Thank you, Mr. Tyler Perry. Thank you, Miss Oprah Winfrey.”
“No baby, I wasn’t blackballed. I was fucked over by some niggas who had no balls,” she continued. “I know they like to say, ‘Mo’Nique you talk to mothafuckin much,’ but it would kill me not to say the real shit. You are not paying me equally. You are not treating me fairly. So yall can suck my dick if I had one.”
