Why on earth would Kevin Gates kick a female fan in her chest? The world has been asking, and finally Gates tells his side the best way he knows how — through music. In a newly released song titled “The Truth” Gates opens up about what really happened.
“She grabbed my d*ck, I overreacted, I’m sorry. Two or three times I had already warned her,” says Gates. He also mentions knowing the severity of his actions, expressing regret and facing jail time and negatively effecting a career he worked hard for. At the same time he raps, “You’re a Queen and you wasn’t respecting yourself. If you’ve ever been disrespected, you know how it felt.”
