Wendy Williams has filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter, after 22 years of marriage.
The filing comes about a year after the Daily Mail published a report claiming Kevin had a long relationship outside the marriage and a child with another woman. Those claims have not been publicly confirmed by Kevin, and they remain allegations.
It also comes just weeks after Wendy returned to her talk show following a two month break. At that time she pushed back on the rumors and said her marriage was solid. Here is part of what she told viewers: “I’m still very much in love with my husband.”
She also said she knew what people had been talking about, and that marriages have their ups and downs.
Things looked different Thursday. Wendy was spotted without her wedding ring, only hours before the divorce filing was reported.
