Wendy Williams has officially pulled the plug on her relationship with husband, Kevin Hunter. In fact, after rumors of Hunter’s longstanding affair with massage therapist, Sharina Hudson, which reportedly produced a child, Williams has filed for divorce from her husband of 22 years.
The news comes a year after Daily Mail released an explosive report about Hunter’s decade long affair and just months after Williams return from her two-month long hiatus, plagued by rumors of self-medicating, drug abuse and more. During that time, Williams refuted the rumors and maintained that her relationship was strong.
“I’m still very much in love with my husband and anyone who’s been married….you know,” she said. “Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years…married for 25 years…we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my love, he’s all this, and he’s all that. I know what you’ve been seeing and I know what the streets have been talking about.”
“Anybody who’s been married for 5 minutes or 500 years, you know marriages have ebbs and flows. Marriages are not easy. Don’t ask me about mine until you see this [ring] gone and it ain’t going anywhere – not in this lifetime.”
However, despite last month’s claim, Williams was spotted Thursday without her ring, just hours before she filed for divorce.
