Bruno Mars & Janet Jackson Set To Headline 2020 Essence Festival

This year’s 50th annual Essence Fest has been revealed, and the headliners are Bruno Mars & Miss Janet Jackson. The appearance marks Bruno Mars’ first-ever headliner performance at the Essence Festival.

The show will take place at the Superdome in New Orleans, hosting many fan favorites like: Raphael Saadiq, Janelle Monáe, Patti Labelle, Summer Walker, Jidenna & Saweetie.

Loni Love will return as the MC for the festivities.

Essence Fest 2020 has been extended to five days to honor its five decades of excellence. The dates are scheduled from July 1-5. The theme is “Own Our Power.”
