Make sure to take a look at the moon tonight.
Tuesday night’s supermoon will be the biggest and brightest moon of the year because it’s the closest to the earth.
It gets the name “pink moon” because it is April’s full moon, but it is also referred to as an “egg moon” or “grass moon.”
According to EarthSky.org, the best time to spot the supermoon is around 10:35 p.m. ET to midnight, and hopefully, there won’t be too many clouds covering it.
Supermoons happen when the moon is within 90% of perigee – which is its closest to Earth in orbit.
