With the stay-at-home orders being enforced the last nearly two months due to the coronavirus pandemic, there has been a surge in ratings for different series.

Most notably, Netflix’s ‘Tiger King’ dominated, crushing the competition with 34 million viewers with just ten days.

However, #MichaelJordan’s #TheLastDance documentary is well on its way to dethrone ‘Tiger King.’

According to Bleacher Report, although ‘Tiger’ was the most-watched show in the first quarter of 2020, ‘Dance’ is already the most viewed documentary series of all time on ESPN.

“Episodes 3 and 4 averaged 5.9 million viewers across ESPN and ESPN2 from 9-11 p.m. ET, with episode 3 (9-10 p.m.) averaging 6.1 million viewers an episode 4 (10-11 p.m.) averaging 5.7 million viewers, based on initial Nielsen reporting,” Isabella Lopez of ESPNPressRoom.Com revealed.

Not only is the docuseries about Jordan and the #ChicagoBulls making history on air, but the hit series is also the talk of the town online with last week’s episode generating four million interactions on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter making the show the No. 1 program on social media.

With six episodes of the series left set to air through May 17, parts 5 and 6 of ‘The Last Dance,’ will air this Sunday. THe last Dance
