Children are such a blessing, especially when you share them with someone you love and care about. Although no one goes into a relationship and have children expecting to break up, unfortunately, it happens. Whether the break up was amicable or heartbreaking, the parents should try and be mature about the situation for the children.

Time and time again, we have either heard or seen some baby mommas use the hurt that they are feeling to get back at their ex. It’s not fair to the child to punish the father because you are upset that the relationship didn’t work out. You are not only hurting the father, but you are hurting the child, and it’s unfair.

There are some great men out there that want to be in their child’s life. Don’t make the relationship harder than what it needs to be and end up having your child resent you later.

Regardless of how the two of you broke up, keep the children out of it. Put your feelings to the side and do what’s best for everyone.

Deadbeat fathers is another topic. Let’s just focus on the dads that want to be present.
