Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former personal fixer and lawyer, is spilling all the tea about his 10 years serving as Trump’s confidant.
In his new book, Disloyal: A Memoir: The True Story of the Former Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump, Cohen said Trump once shrugged at the thought of Melania leaving him over cheating rumors. “I can always get another wife. That’s no problem for me, if she wants to go, so be it,'” he said, according to the book.
Cohen wrote, “‘If he ever got caught cheating and Melania threatened to leave him, he wouldn’t be upset or hurt at the loss, and I suspect she knew it. The relationship was just another deal, plain and simple.”
Cohen’s job was to clean up Trump’s messes, and he most famously paid porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 in hush money to keep quiet about her affair with Trump right before the 2016 election.
Cohen, who once said he’d “take a bullet” for Trump, was arrested by the FBI for the Stormy Daniels payment and was sentenced to three years in prison for campaign finance violations and other crimes. He was released this summer and placed on house arrest due to coronavirus.
Elsewhere in his book, Cohen claimed that Trump used his daughter Ivanka to charm men during business deals because men “can’t think straight when they’re around her.”
He also revealed that Trump thought his son Don Jr. “had the worst fu**ing judgement” and once threw him out of his office after photos of Don Jr. hunting big game surfaced. Trump also reportedly gossipped about his daughter Tiffany’s look with his favorite child Ivanka.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s governing African National Congress (ANC) called Trump “divisive, misogynistic and disrespectful” after Cohen said Trump was dismissive about Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first Black president.
According to Cohen, Trump said Mandela, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, was “no leader” and said, “Tell me one country run by a black person that isn’t a sh*thole. They are all complete [expletive] toilets.”
The ANC, which Mandela led from 1991 to 1997, said that “all freedom-loving people of the world are appalled by these insults which come from a person who, himself, is not a model of competent leadership.”
The ANC added that Mandela “reached out to the world and sought to bring peace and a just society.”
