North West was baptized Monday at the Cathedral of St. James in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City, according to People.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West flew in to Jerusalem from Armenia, where the family had spent the past five days, for what CBS and the Associated Press described as a private visit. Archbishop Aris Shirvanian, an Armenian church official, said ahead of the ceremony that Kim Kardashian’s daughter would be baptized and become a Christian officially.
People reported the cathedral dates back to the fourth century. E! reported that Khloe Kardashian was named North’s godmother. The family was reportedly heading to Jordan next.
