A plea deal landed Darren Sharper 9 years in prison for allegedly drugging and raping nearly a dozen women across 4 states. As part of that same plea deal, there are some post-release rules Sharper must abide by — one of those terms includes having a sensor attached to his penis.
Here’s what Darren has to look forward to in 9 years:
– Darren Sharper will be on a lifetime probation in Arizona.
– During his first three to five years of freedom, California will track him by GPS.
– Darren Sharper will be forced to undergo sex offender treatment for years.
– Sharper is prohibited from drinking alcohol for the rest of his life. He also can not go to liquor stores, bars, clubs, etc.
– Darren Sharper is prohibited from going to sex shops or internet dating.
– Any travel over 50 miles from home or any overnight states must be approved by state officials.
– Sharper will be subject to lie detector tests.
– In Arizona, while on his lifetime probation, Sharper will be subject to the “penile plethysmograph,” in which a sensor is attached to the penis while an array of sexual images flashes before his eyes, to gauge arousal.
In other words Sharper can’t so much as breathe wrong when he gets out of jail and should prepare to be de-sex-itized if he wants to maintain his freedom.
Darren Sharper can comply with these guidelines or face at least 14 years in Arizona or Louisiana (or both).
Sounds to me like his probation will be far worse than his 9 years behind bars.
