The coronavirus pandemic has affected many businesses causing them to file for bankruptcy or simply close their restaurants permanently.
Since March, businesses have closed their doors and conducting business solely online. Many restaurants were able to stay open due to take-out or delivery options, but some businesses weren’t able to recover at all and had to file for bankruptcy.

Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Horton– Plans to close several hundreds of under-performing locations across the three brands.
Dunkin Donuts-Â Up to 800
Starbucks– Up to 400
Pizza Hut– Up to 300
McDonald’s– Up to 200
Ruby Tuesday– Permanently Closing 185 Locations
Steak n’ Shake– Closing 69 locations
IHOP– Closing nearly 50 locations
Bravo!- Up to 50 locations
Bar Louie!- Closing nearly 50 locations
Chuck E Cheese– Permanently closing nearly three dozen locations
Denny’s– Closing 15 locations
Zinburger– 15 locations
Rubio’s Coastal Grill– Rubio’s, a chain of Mexican restaurants in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, and Florida, has permanently closed a dozen locations in the latter two states.
Pie Five– Closed 10 locations
Sizzler– Definitely thought these were extinct lol… they have permanently closed 6 locations. There are more than 100 locations around the world.
California Pizza Kitchen– Several locations
There are quite a few restaurants that are in trouble and on the verge of closing.
