Donald Trump Jr. has tested positive for Coronavirus.
They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to behavior, but it must apply to luck as well. On Friday, Donald Trump Jr.’s personal spokesperson announced the news, “Don tested positive at the start of the week and has been quarantining out at his cabin since the result. He’s been completely asymptomatic so far and is following all medically recommended COVID-19 guidelines.”
Trump Jr. is the latest person who is close to Trump to have caught the deadly virus. He is now on the list right along with Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, his youngest son Barron, his chief of staff Mark Meadows, and several other top aides in the White House and his campaign, CNN reports.
Trump Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle also received a positive Covid-19 test over the summer. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle traveled across the country campaigning for Trump this summer, and he was among the 250 people who went to the White House’s indoor election night party, where there hardy no masks insight. Other partygoers who caught the Rona were Meadows, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, and White House political affairs director Brian Jack.
What Trump Jr. once called “almost nothing” now has him taking meds to recover. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the States, Trump Jr. has done his best to spread fake news about the virus. His tall tales got so bad that Twitter had to restrict his account after sharing a fake news video that included false information about the drug hydroxychloroquine. Also, he shared a Facebook meme that claimed wearing face masks don’t fight against the spread of the disease.
But as Trump’s team continues to lie about the disease, the Covid-19 cases keep on appearing amongst them. CNN reports that two Republican senators, Rick Scott of Florida and Chuck Grassley of Iowa, recently announced they have tested positive for Rona.
