Donald Trump is worried that his campaign’s legal team, headed by his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, is comprised of “fools that are making him look bad.”
NBC News reports that to date, his legal team has failed to invalidate and votes for President-elect Joe Biden, as they continue to spew false claims of voter fraud,
On Sunday, Sidney Powell was let go from the team after suggesting that the Republican governor and secretary of state of Georgia rigged the election in favor of Biden. She made similar claims at a press conference at the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington. Sources told NBC that Trump has complained about Powell’s and Giuliani’s actions at the event.
Before Powell was let go, former New Jersey governor and frequent Trump ally Chris Christie called the legal team a “national embarrassment.” He also told the president to put an end to election challenges.
At the press conference at RNC headquarters, Giuliani began sweating so profusely that hair dye ran down the side of his face, which of course, caught fire on the internet. A person close to Trump told the outlet that the president, who cares very much about appearances, was very unhappy with the former mayor’s performance.
On Sunday, the campaign’s senior legal advisor, Jenna Ellis, tweeted inappropriately about well respected Republican pollster Frank Luntz.
Shortly after their suit was tossed in Pennsylvania, Luntz retweeted one of Ellis’ tweets from last week that suggested Giuliani was establishing a rapport with the judge presiding over the Trump legal challenge in the state, referring to it as a parody account.
