After trying to sell two underage girls to an individual for sexual favors, a charter jet company CEO is in police custody. Little did he know that the individual was an undercover cop.
The convicted sex offender, Paul Alexander, 57, struck with the undercover cop on Thursday, concluded the months-long investigation nicknamed “Operation Mile High.”
A teen girl came forward in March, claiming Alexander had sex trafficked her among many other young girls. This prompted the state Attorney General’s Organized Crime Task Force and the NYPD’s Human Trafficking Squad to launch an investigation.
The girls, who came from the Bronx — “the poorest county,” were pimped out to wealthy clients across New York City, advising them to ply the “ghetto rats” with booze and pot to “make them more cooperative,” prosecutors said, according to Daily News.
During his sitdown with the undercover officer, Alexander presented nude photos of a 12-year-old and 14-year-old girl. He was offering $100 for each or $300 for both. He then proceeded to call the girls “for brief meet-and-greets.”
According to neighbors, Alexdare frequently hung out with young girls. “He would bring a lot of little girls here — Black, Hispanic, Chinese — he brings women of all types and walks of life, and a lot of girls,” one said.
Charged with sex trafficking of a child, attempted sex trafficking, endangering the welfare of a child, and prostitution, he is being held without bail at a Bronx Criminal Court. He is set for arraignment on Friday.
