Camron and several others are lending their vocals to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority COVID-19 campaign.
In Camron’s voice over, the “Paid In Full” star can hilariously be heard saying, “I don’t care if you a chicken or a duck, and you know what? Covid don’t care either.” While the humor is apparent, the rapper encourages MTA riders to wear their masks and reminds them that it is against the law to do otherwise.
MTA first announced the public health initiative back in November with documentary filmmaker Nicolas Heller, who mentioned big names such as Robert DeNiro, Jerry Seinfeld, and Desus & Mero as potential voices for the campaign. Now, 25 entertainers have been confirmed for the project.
Jadakiss, who is also a part of the initiative, shared the news that he would be joining the movement on his Instagram.
“Starting February 12th, you will be hearing my voice along with over 20 other iconic voices representing the @mta on subway platforms and buses all over NYC! S/O @newyorknico for making this happen,” he wrote. “I can’t wait to hear this for myself He Heh!”
Whoopi Goldberg, Fran Lebowitz, Debi Mazar, and Angela Yee are also a part of the MTA COVID-19 awareness movement.
