Never one to shy away from giving his controversial opinion on current events, Boosie Badazz has taken Quavo’s side over the elevator altercation video footage that surfaced between him and Saweetie.
The clip was first released by TMZ on Tuesday and showed Saweetie swinging on the Migos rapper. The two then begin to struggle over a Call of Duty case. Quavo grabs her arm and swings her into the elevator wall, then they both go down. Saweetie stays on the ground while Quavo stands over her. The incident allegedly took place while the pair were still dating.
Boosie took to Twitter, where he sided with Quavo on the matter.
“@QuavoStuntin did not abuse @Saweetie,” he wrote. “Look at the video I AGREE WITH @troubleDTE SHE LOST THE TUG OF WAR,” Boosie Badazz wrote.
Boosie’s tweet references an Instagram video posted by Trouble, which downplays the seriousness of the altercation. He says the Icy Girl rapper just “lost a game” of tug of war.
Quavo and Saweetie dated for two years before she announced their split on March 19.
