On Thursday, Black Ink Crew‘s Ceaser Emmanuel held a press conference to address the lawsuit he recently filed to end defaming statements made on social media by his daughter’s mother, Crystal Torres.
The tattoo artist and entrepreneur is suing Torres for repeating and elaborating child abuse claims that their 17-year-old daughter Cheyenne made in January. Ceasar has clarified that the assertion is false and that he was disciplining his daughter by taking some of the items he had purchased for her. He’s now pursuing legal action against Torres for publicly claiming he’s a child abuser.
Ceaser explains, “I am concerned for my daughter Cheyenne; her mother has corrupted her. I would do anything in my power to have my daughter back in my life. She is the sole heir to my Black Ink empire. I am nothing without her, and I miss her by my side. I have been dealing with this family matter for a while. And every time I feel like I am getting somewhere, I am being shut down and pulled away from speaking with my daughter directly…Everything I’ve built has been for my daughter.”
On Monday, Crystal went on a social media rant, claiming Ceasar is spreading “lies.” Ceaser claims that’s only one example of her defaming him in his lawsuit, which he claims has damaged his reputation and cost him a lot of money. Many of Crystal’s Instagram posts and interviews, according to the lawsuit, are inflammatory and misleading.
Caesar states that he sent Crystal a letter from the Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services in Georgia, which cleared him of any allegations of child violence. Despite the facts, she has proceeded to smear his name on numerous online sites, resulting in the loss of sponsorship deals and the temporary suspension of his VH1 reality show due to an internal investigation. It also ended his voluntary work with the community and underserved children because he was suspected of child abuse.
