The death of an elderly man in Staten Island found with the words “I touch little girls” written on his chest has been ruled a homicide.
A spokesman for the Chief Medical officer said they determined that the 80-year-old man identified as Robert Raynor was killed by blunt trauma to the head and torso.
Raynor’s body was found Monday morning in the hallway of his Tompkinsville apartment building by his upstairs neighbor, who reported that he heard a commotion coming from the man’s apartment hours earlier.
Issac Williams, the elderly man’s neighbor, said he found him brutally beaten with two black eyes, wearing only a pair of pants, which were pulled down below his waist, and the words, “I touch little girls,” written on his chest with a black marker.
He also had the phrases “I take dolls in my room for girls age 1-5” on his stomach, and “I touch” on his right foot, a police source revealed.
