Rap diva Cardi B is opening up about the moment she realized that she and her husband Offset were expecting baby number two.
On Tuesday, the “Bodak Yellow” star revealed during an appearance on Stationhead that she began to suspect that she was expecting two weeks before her sultry Grammy award performance with Megan Thee Stallion. As she started to experience headaches, and carsickness she told Offset, “I think I’m pregnant, bro!”
The 28-year-old said after a pregnancy test confirmed that a bundle of joy was on the way, the couple burst into joyous laughter as they realized that they had a lot to get done before the new baby’s arrival. Despite scrambling to prepare for their newborn, Cardi says there is “something so dear” about her second pregnancy.
“I feel like I’m starting a new chapter, and I’m happy about that,” she gushed.
Cardi recently unveiled her pregnancy during a surprise performance with Migos during this year’s B.E.T. Awards. She and Offset currently share a 3-year-old daughter, Kulture, and his children from previous relationships: 6-year-old Kalea, 6-year-old Kody, and 11-year-old Jordan.
The entire family recently celebrated Kulture’s birthday with a royal princess-themed party.
As seen with her first daughter, Cardi does not let her growing baby bump slow her down. She recently celebrated the release of the video for Normani’s “Wild Side,” which she is featured on. Also, she announced the launch of a new style from her popular Reebok line last week.
