Last night’s Verzuz battle between Fat Joe and Ja Rule had many fans and celebrities hype for what’s to come.
So much so, Jermaine Dupri called out Diddy and suggested that they go head-to-head in a Verzuz of their own.
Dupri has already stated his desire to go up against Diddy. He previously claimed he’d “smoke Diddy” if they met face to face to do a Verzuz battle.
Diddy has previously indicated an interest in participating in a Verzuz, but only with Dr. Dre, the legendary record producer.
After Fat Joe and Ja Rule’s Verzuz was over, Jermaine tweeted, “Somebody let @Diddy know I’m @thegarden right now! And he gon need some training for me.”
Diddy was quick to respond to Dupri’s tweet, adding that the So So Def founder “ain’t got enough hits.”
He continued by saying he’d rather take on Dr. Dre, tweeting, “I’ll smash you with just biggie n Mary. But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend – Dre the only one can get in the ring w me.”
