A Texas woman is the 100th person to plead guilty to charges in connection to participating in the January 6 riots in the U.S. Capitol building.Â
Jenny Cudd, a 37-year-old florist, pleaded guilty to entering a restricted building on Wednesday. She is facing up to a year in jail but could end up with between zero and six months. In addition to jail time, she could be slapped with a $100k fine.Â
In exchange for the guilty plea, four other charges were dropped, including a felony obstruction charge.Â
Cudd went viral back in February when she asked a judge if she could attend a work retreat in Cancun, Mexico. District Judge Trevor McFadden granted her request for the four-day trip. His reasoning was that prosecutors did not oppose her attending the retreat.
In July, the Texans co-defendant, Eliel Rosa, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Tuesday to one year of probation.Â
Cudd is scheduled to be sentenced on March 11.
