Tyga’s ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson decided to go public with her abuse claims after claiming TMZ “released a false narrative.”
“I took matters into my own hands and posted the TRUTH with proof tagging tmz after they released the fake news,” she wrote in her Instagram Story. “Looking back now, I’m proud of myself for making a statement and standing up for myself.”
Swanson posted photos of herself on social media with a black eye. She claims Tyga caused the injuries on Monday.
“I’m glad to raise awareness to women who may be going through this and hopefully motivate others to stand up for themselves,” she continued. “The outstanding amount of love and support that I’ve received from so many of you has helped me so much.”
The 31-year-old rapper turned himself into the police on Tuesday morning. He was booked on suspicion of felony domestic violence. Tyga is free on $50,000 bail.
