A woman was reportedly stabbed outside a Los Angeles Foot Locker; police say one person has been arrested.
At around 2:40 p.m. in the 7700 block of Melrose Avenue on Wednesday, a woman was stabbed repeatedly by a man, and the suspect is reportedly the woman’s partner. The incident took place right outside a Foot Locker store in the Fairfax district, ABC 7 News reports. At the time, Foot Locker was featuring a new Nike shoe release.
Video footage captured by a bystander shows the man stabbing the woman over and over after a fight between several people broke out on the sidewalk. The video that has now gone viral shows a woman screaming in pain as a stabbing suspect takes off running. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.
Before the stabbing, another woman was seen getting punched in the face, and she was left there covered in blood. The police are considering the incident an auto of domestic violence due to the suspect being romantically involved with the victim.
