According to reports, police say a Harlem McDonald‘s employee was repeatedly stabbed by an angry customer early Wednesday while defending his co-workers.
The victim, 31, intervened around 12:40 a.m. when he saw the suspect arguing with other workers inside the fast-food joint on Third Avenue near East 117th Street.
He was then slashed and stabbed in the back and left arm by the suspect, authorities said.
Police said the victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Several hours after the incident, police are still searching for the bearded assailant, who they describe as between 5-foot-11 and 6 feet tall, wearing a dark green jacket and a ski mask.
