Bennie Frank Johnson, 66.

A Georgia man is going to serve life in prison for raping and molesting three generations of the same family.

On Monday, 66-year-old Bennie Frank Johnson was sentenced to two life terms and an additional five years after being found guilty of rape, aggravated child molestation and child molestation, The New York Post reports. Johnson, a grandfather, was arrested in May 2018 after he sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl in 2017. The mother of the victim came forward and said Johnson sexually abused her when she was a child as well.

During his trial, another witness revealed that Johnson raped her as a child when he was married to her mother, the news outlet reports. The victim’s mother referred to Johnson’s crimes against her family as a “generational curse.” In a statement, Assistant District Attorney Alex Clark said Johnson will “will never be able to abuse another child again.”

The New York Post reports Johnson, a Mableton resident, is being held without bond.
