SuperFly actor Kaalan “KR” Walker was sentenced Monday to 50 years to life in prison after being found guilty of raping four women and three teenage girls he met online dating back in 2013.
Walker was convicted of three counts of forcible rape, two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, two counts of rape of an intoxication victim and one count of assault with intent to commit oral copulation by a Van Nuys jury in April.
The 27-year-old has also been ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
According to Rolling Stone, Walker began contacting women on social media in 2013, especially aspiring models, with the promise of professional prospects and celebrity encounters.
Police claimed that over two years, Walkers would get the woman alone and then assault them sexually.
“When they said, ‘Stop,’ he didn’t care,’ ” Fardghassemi said.
In 2018, Walker was arrested after the Los Angeles Police Department released a news release tying him to a series of sexual assaults in Van Nuys.
In April, Walker’s attorney, Andrew Flier, told USA Today that his client “maintains his innocence” and “did not receive a fair trial as many important issues were excluded by the Court.”
Flier said, at the time, his client was “portrayed as a monster” and planned to appeal.
