Coors Light Drops New Nail Polish That Changes Colors When Your Beer Is Chilled Just Right

Coors Light Unveils Color-Changing Nail Polish That Lets You Know If Beer Is Cold Enough [Video]

Coors Light Nail polish

Coors Light has developed a festive new nail polish that changes colors when your beer is cold enough.

Appropriately called “Chill Polish,” this new line is a collaborative effort with nail polish manufacturer LeChat Nails. The innovative nail lacquer starts as silver when applied but can turn blue if the beer you’re holding is chilled well. If you’re not a Coors Light kind of gal, the company understands, which is why the polish works with any beer.

Chill Polish is inspired by Coors Light’s famous color-changing cans that switch from white to blue when the beverage reaches about 42 degrees Fahrenheit. Both the can and the polish were made with mountains in mind, which famously sport a blue tint in the winter months. Coors Light’s vice president of marketing, Marcelo Pascoa, shared that the 44-year-old beer should be served “as cold as the Rockies” every time customers pour themselves a glass or pop a tab.

“We’ve brought our cold-activated technology to nail polish to ensure your pint of beer is just the right temp for drinking,” he stated.

Chill Polish arrived just in time for the holidays as part of the Coors Light Chill collection, which includes ski goggles, crewnecks, scarves, and more. All items in the line sport the red cursive “Chill” logo with gray and blue hues scattered about. You can grab a bottle of the polish for that special beer lover in your life for only $7 at shop.coorslight.com. After its launch on Tuesday, fans quickly swarmed the site, and as of Thursday morning, the bottles were sold out but not to fear. A restock occurs every Tuesday at 11 a.m. EST until December 13th, ensuring fans have these fun stocking stuffers before Christmas.
