You may soon have to pay for your favorite TikTok creators’ content with a new paywall option that the app is rolling out.

The feature is called “Series” and is a new way for TikTokers to monetize their content even further.  TechCrunch reports that the tool allows creators to share collections of “premium” content meant to be distinct or more entertaining than their typical TikToks. A creator can have up to 80 videos within the Series, each of which can be up to 20 minutes long. This means a TikToker could release an entire mini-documentary that they can charge viewers to watch.

Standard videos on TikTok can be up to 10 minutes, so Series does give those who wish to share longer videos an advantage. Internet chefs, beauty gurus, and comedians can offer their supporters longer clips, and the best part is they can charge whatever they see fit but may not exceed $190. Viewers can buy the content by clicking on video links or the creator’s profile. As a show of good faith, TikTok confirmed that creators would keep 100% of their earnings during the rollout process, though there is a chance the company may begin getting a cut in the near future.

TikTok is still keeping its family-friendly community, so creators will not be able to post adult content as they would on other paywall sites such as OnlyFans. Series is the latest way for TikTok users to profit from their videos. The app previously implemented the Creativity Program with tools like LIVE subscriptions and TikTok Pulse. Tips and gifts are also available for viewers who want to donate money to their favorite TikToker.

As of now, Series is only available to select creators, though others can apply for the program soon.
