Marriage is supposed to be “in sickness and in health” and “until death do us part,” right? Well, not for billionaire Wolfgang Porsche.
Porsche, 79, is reportedly divorcing his wife Claudia over her “dementia-life illness,” according to sources close to the couple. The Daily Beast, citing the German outlet Bild, reports that Porsche finds his wife’s condition “impossible” to live with.
Claudia has been receiving round-the-clock care from her daughter and housekeepers for the last couple of years. According to the outlet, she has been unable to move without help for months.
The two began dating in 2007 and married in 2019. They share two children.
Meanwhile, the billionaire has been spending time with his good friend and former princess, Inaara Aga Khan.
And yes, Wolfgang is a member of that Porsche family and holds a seat on the company’s supervisory board. The Porsche family is estimated to be worth about $22 billion.
Wolfgang is the youngest son of former Porsche CEO and designer Ferdinand Porsche Jr. and Dorothea Reitz. His grandfather, Ferdinand Porsche Sr., founded Porsche and Volkswagen.
