YouTuber Shot During Prank Video at Dulles Town Center in Virginia

A man who was critically injured in Dulles Town Center Mall claimed that he was shooting a prank video for his YouTube channel “Classified Goons” when he was shot.

Tanner Cook, who is 21 years old, was shot in the stomach and liver by Alan Colie, a 31-year-old resident of Leesburg, during a fight that broke out in the mall’s food court.

Colie has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm within a building.

Cook’s friend recorded the incident, which is now part of the evidence.  Cook spoke to WUSA9 from his hospital bed after undergoing surgery and said that he was playing a practical joke that Colie did not take well.  Despite what led to the shooting, Cook’s father said that it was shocking and unnecessary.
