Miami police are on the hunt for a woman they believe drugged her date and ran off with over $600,000 worth of jewelry from him.
The Miami investigators don’t know her name but do have clear surveillance footage of her face as she is seen coming and leaving an apartment building. She first gets onto the elevator around 5:30 a.m. on May 7th with a man that she met in a nightclub. Later on, she is seen getting back on the elevator alone, holding two blue plastic cups, her purse, and her cell phone, wearing the same clothing she was seen wearing earlier. Detectives believe she took the cups with her because they contained both hers and the victim’s DNA, as well as remnants of the drugs used to subdue him.
The man was not with her when she exited the building. Instead, he was inside the apartment, asleep. When he awoke around 12:00 p.m., he realized his fling was gone, along with several watches and other high-priced goods. He notified police and explained to them that he’d immediately dozed off after having a drink with the unidentified assailant. The pricey pieces that vanished with the woman include a diamond-encrusted Rolex Daytona rainbow watch, a Sky-Dweller Rolex, Franco gold bracelets, Cartier sunglasses, and a rose gold diamond ring.
Police believe the woman is in her mid-30s with a height of roughly 5 ’08 to 5’10 and an estimated weight of 140 pounds. If you recognize her, it may be a good idea to steer clear of any interaction with her, especially if it involves alcohol. Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers 305.
