If you’re a lover of Kit Kats and cinnamon, then the new Kit Kat Churro is the perfect candy for you this Summer.
On Wednesday, the company announced the debut of this exclusive wafer, which puts a unique spin on the Kit Kat bars we’ve grown up on. In this new version, customers will bite into a buttercream sprinkled with sugar and a rich churro taste stuffed in between layers of Kit Kat wafers. The brand-new candy doesn’t include its famed milk chocolate, but the all-new formula is sure to attract regular Kit Kat fans as well as those who enjoy the state fair staple.
This limited-edition flavor joins an impressive lineup of specialty Kit Kat such as the Lemon Crisp and Blueberry Muffin. Associate Kit Kat Brand Manager Alex Herzog is confident that this latest offering will resonate well with customers.
“We hope that every bite of the buttery churro flavor and the familiar crispy crunch of our wafers unlocks memories of the delightful experience of enjoying freshly baked churros from the boardwalk stand, amusement park, or the local fair,” Herzog shared in a press release.
Kit Kat Churro makes its arrival on June 6th, which happens to be National Churro Day, and what better way to celebrate? As for pricing, that will remain up to the retailers who carry the churro-inspired candy bar. This new arrival coincides with Kit Kat’s release of their highly anticipated Kit Kat Cereal, which is now available on grocery shelves. It’s not yet known how long either will remain in stores, so don’t waste a second getting your hands on these new goodies.
