One year after revealing its first Nike collab, Jacquemus is gearing up to unveil the next installment of its flourishing relationship with the athletic-wear brand.Â
The sneaker was first believed to be simply a Jacquemus-designed Air Force 1. However, the company revealed on Instagram that the shoe is actually a blended concept. The unique piece of footwear combines the AF1 and the Nike ACG Terra. The sneaker includes a mesh tongue, a leather upper that mimics the classic Air Force 1, and miniature metallic Nike checks on the sides. What makes the shoe even more unique is the distinct woven pattern on the sole and bottom. The brand’s Jacquemus logo is also on the bottom of the sneaker. “JF1” branding is seen on the metallic lace dubrae and leather aglets on the laces.Â
The JF1 arrives after the success of Nike and Jacquemus Air Humara LX. The bright pink version seemed to be the most sought-after, though the white and brown iterations were also pretty popular. That sneaker also utilized the smaller Nike swoop, which appears to be the preferred logo of all collabs moving forward.
The JF1 will arrive on June 13th on Jacquemus.com, Nike.com, and in select retail locations. Customers can pick up the sneaker in either “Triple White” or “Triple Black” colorways. They are expected to retail for $170. It’s not yet known if JF1 will be available in women’s and kids’ sizes.
