Former Bad Boy President Harve Pierre is being sued for sexual assault.
Just days after Bad Boy founder Diddy was sued and settled his own sexual assault case with Cassie, his friend is facing similar allegations. The accuser, identified only as Jane Doe, claims Pierre used his “position of authority as the plaintiff’s boss to groom, exploit, and sexually assault her.” This reportedly took place from 2016 to 2017. Doe filed the suit Tuesday in New York, claiming she suffered profound physical, emotional, and psychological damage and is seeking unspecified damages. It’s unclear what Doe’s exact role under Pierre was.
Doe’s claim also names Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy Records, and Combs Enterprises as co-defendants. She maintains that Pierre’s affiliation with Diddy and his companies helped hide his actions. Doe says the companies failed to “properly supervise” Pierre.
A Bad Boy spokesperson released a statement that said Pierre is no longer employed with the company. However, he was a fixture with the label for years since starting there in 1992. He left in 1995 only to return in 2017 as president once again. He also appeared in multiple episodes of Diddy’s music series, “Making The Band.”
This is the latest lawsuit coming from the Bad Boy camp. Diddy settled his suit with Cassie one day after she filed, though the damage was already done. Her lawsuit claimed that the media mogul forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he watched. The singer also accused him of violently beating her and raping her. Since these explosive allegations were made public, multiple stories have surfaced regarding Diddy making Cassie shave her head and even threatening her romantic partners after they broke up.
Pierre nor Diddy has responded publicly to these latest legal troubles.
