Jada Pinkett Smith confirms on The Drew Barrymore Show that she and Will Smith will remain together despite recent reports of their separation.
“I feel like maybe your and his shadow separated in a way in this book, whether they stay together forever or not,” Barrymore told Jada. “It sounds like you’re staying together forever.”
“We’re staying together forever,” Jada responded, adding, “I tried. We tried.”
Last month, Jada revealed during her book tour that she and Will had been separated for some time, telling Hoda Kotba for NBC News that they had been living “completely separate lives” since 2016.
However, the actress clarified the couple’s dynamic in the same interview, saying they “made a promise that there will never be a reason” for them to divorce.Â
“We will work through whatever. And I just haven’t been able to break that promise,” she continued at the time.
