Beyoncé Shares Her Strategy On How She Moves Around Anonymous, Says She Goes To Target Undetected

Imagine seeing Beyoncé in Target. Not that it’s abnormal, but people probably don’t expect one of the world’s biggest stars to do her shopping because of the chaos it would cause.

But apparently, Beyoncé does just that. In an interview with CR Fashion Book, the singer disclosed a simple tactic she uses when she wants to remain anonymous in public spaces like Target. She says a humble black hoodie is her go-to.

“When I’m not dressed for an appearance and I’m training or hustling, my go-to outfit is a black hoodie and black sweatpants,” she told the outlet.

“I enjoy consciously wearing the same black hoodie. On a good day, I can sneak into Target unnoticed,” she added.

She also spoke about her new hair care line,  CÉCRED, and the inspiration behind it. “It has always been a dream of mine to create top-of-the-line, luxury products. I wanted to combine the best scientific advancements with true rituals from different heritages,” she said. ⁠
